Privacy Policy.

How AutoSide collects, uses, protects, and shares personal information.

Last updated:

1. Policy scope

AutoSide (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses this Privacy Policy to explain how personal information is handled when you visit auto-side.com, contact us, use our forms, book a consultation, or receive our vehicle-purchase assistance.

This policy covers information that identifies you or can reasonably be connected to you. Website and messaging rules are in our Terms of Service. Paid work is governed by the Service Agreement.

2. Information you provide

Contact and booking details: Your name, email address, phone number, general location or ZIP code, appointment information, and contact preferences.

Purchase and trade-in details: Vehicle preferences, budget, purchase timing, search area, financing preferences, incentive eligibility, dealer quotes, and documents you choose to share. Trade-in assistance may involve a VIN, mileage, condition, appraisal, and payoff amount.

Communications and payment records: Inquiries, messages, instructions, feedback, transaction references, amounts, receipts, payment status, and refund records. Checkout providers handle payment credentials entered through their systems.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, full payment-card numbers, passwords, or unnecessary identity documents by ordinary email or text. Confirm an appropriate secure method before sharing sensitive documents.

3. Information from other sources

Website and platform providers may receive IP addresses, browser and device details, approximate location, referral sources, pages visited, timestamps, form activity, and delivery or interaction records, depending on the features used.

We may receive vehicle offers, availability, trade-in estimates, and transaction updates from dealerships or purchase-related providers. Advertising or social platforms may send us the information and request records you submit through their AutoSide forms.

4. Why we use information

We use relevant information to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, understand your requirements, provide the assistance you request, and communicate about that work.

We also use information for payments, accounting, refunds, customer support, recordkeeping, fraud prevention, security, and legal obligations. Where permitted, contact information may be used for AutoSide marketing according to your communication choices.

Usage information may help measure website performance and advertising results. We do not publish your identity, private messages, or identifiable purchase documents as a testimonial or deal example without permission. Examples may use information with identifying details removed.

5. Who receives information

Purchase-related providers: We disclose information reasonably needed to request offers, discuss a trade-in, or coordinate the transaction you authorize. Sharing for that purpose does not transfer your AutoSide SMS consent.

Operational providers: Website, scheduling, customer-record, messaging, checkout, and support providers may process information for their assigned tasks. These may include HighLevel/LeadConnector and the providers supporting message delivery or payment processing. Access is limited to the relevant purpose.

Legal and security needs: Information may be disclosed as required by law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.

We do not sell customer records for money. Advertising-tool disclosures may qualify as a sale or sharing under certain privacy laws even without a cash payment; Section 7 addresses those tools and choices. Section 6’s restrictions on mobile information still apply.

6. Mobile information and consent records

We do not provide mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS enrollment details, to outside businesses or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional use.

Providers supporting AutoSide may process necessary information for customer support or message delivery. SMS opt-in records and consent are excluded from unrelated disclosures and cannot be sold, rented, or transferred for another party’s messaging program.

We may retain your consent date and method, the disclosure presented, the associated form or campaign source, delivery records, and preference changes. These records help document permissions and honor communication choices.

The program description, enrollment choices, message frequency, rates, and STOP/HELP instructions are located in the SMS section of our Terms of Service.

7. Cookies and advertising tools

Cookies and similar technologies can support site functions, remember preferences, protect forms, and measure visits. Analytics or advertising tags, when enabled, may use browsing and device information to attribute inquiries or purchases and personalize advertising.

Some advertising disclosures may constitute targeted-advertising sharing or a sale under applicable law. This does not authorize disclosure of mobile information or SMS consent for another party’s marketing.

Externally hosted fonts, images, videos, forms, and checkout tools receive standard request information when loaded. This page uses Google Fonts and a Google-hosted brand image.

You can manage cookies through your browser and any controls available on our website or the relevant advertising platform. Blocking tools can affect embedded features. Email [email protected] to request an advertising or sharing opt-out. We honor legally recognized browser signals and obtain consent for optional tools where required.

8. Record retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the relevant service, follow-up, payments, accounting, legal obligations, security, or dispute resolution. Retention depends on the information and its purpose.

Limited consent and suppression records may remain after an unsubscribe or deletion request so we can document permissions and prevent unwanted contact. When records are no longer needed, we delete them or remove identifying details, subject to lawful retention needs and backup cycles.

9. Data protection

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and limit access to people and providers who need information for the relevant work.

No website, storage system, or communication channel can guarantee complete security. Contact us if you believe information connected with AutoSide has been misused.

10. Privacy choices and requests

Email [email protected] to ask about your information, request access or a copy, correct details, request deletion, or update contact preferences. Describe the request and provide the contact details you used with AutoSide.

Depending on your location and applicable law, additional rights may include portability, limits on sensitive-data use, or an opt-out from targeted advertising or legally defined sale or sharing. An authorized agent may act where permitted.

We may reasonably verify access, correction, or deletion requests using existing information. Advertising opt-outs do not require identity verification, though we may need enough information to locate the relevant records or browser.

Lawful retention exceptions may apply. We will explain any refusal or limitation and any available appeal process, and respond within applicable legal deadlines. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails through the message link or by contacting us. We do not penalize the exercise of protected privacy rights.

11. Children and processing locations

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Contact us if a child has supplied information so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

AutoSide operates in the United States. Service providers may process information in the United States or other locations, subject to applicable requirements. Independently operated dealerships, lenders, social networks, and payment platforms have their own privacy notices.

12. Privacy Policy changes

We may revise this policy when information practices change and update the date above. Material changes receive additional notice where required. A revised policy does not itself create permission for new marketing or override an existing communication choice.

13. Privacy contact

For information-handling questions or privacy requests, email [email protected].
